Rainy July 4th

Gloomy, rainy day here in Indiana, so a good day to spend in the garage. The SR500 is almost road ready. I decided to not paint the rims, but maybe someday. Including what I paid for it, and with selling some of the take-offs, I've got about $1400 total in this bike, so not too bad at all. Most of the time in the sprocket install was in cleaning the front sprocket area, and cleaning up the swingarm pivot and cush drive assembly, and greasing them up with M1 synthetic grease. The bike was missing the cush drive dust cover, so I'll have to order a new one. Luckily the swingarm pivot bolt came right out, since I've heard of these being rusted in place. There was some serious play in the swingarm pivot, and that turned out to be a missing left side thrust washer, so I found a washer that fit, and no play at all.
