DT1 flat track project

Time to fire it up.


Here is the bike I started with. It was a '68 DT1 frame with a '72 DT2 engine. I think I paid $70 for the mess.


This is what was left after the Suzuki parts were removed. I ended up using a '73 DT3 engine instead of this one since it had case damage.


Here it is now.














It's alive! Lots of tuning to do, but it's a runner. The VM30-83 is on there right out of the box, since I had no idea of where to start on the jetting. It wouldn't start on the choke, so might be rich on the low end.
