DT1 MX project

I've been painting the parts and letting them cure in the sun. I'm using Dupli-Color self-etching primer and Dupli-Color gloss black acrylic enamel. The exhaust is VHT flat black header paint. 








I got some Fly Racing handlebars for the bike. The base is a bit wide, so might not look as good on stock DT forks, but the TT500 forks I'm using are wider. I think they'll work and look fine, although I probably won't be using the bar pad they come with.


I got mine for about $27 shipped, so a very good price. If you are looking for a set they are part number 18-95106, but I found them a little cheaper searching the manufacturer number 0605201221. You'll see them on ebay with the bar pad and sticker removed, and listed for a model specific application at a higher price.
