The Reunion part 1

I first went to the Rockers Reunion Indy in 2010, which was the 4th annual show put on by Ton Up Indy. It took place on Illinois Street in front of the Melody Inn. Illinois Street was still open for traffic, with bikes parked on each side of the road. By the 7th annual show in 2013, while still held at the Melody Inn, nearby 39th Street was closed for traffic, for much better parking for bikes, and the North United Methodist Church allowed use of their parking lot for the show. By the 9th annual show in 2015 it had moved to Fountain Square, with the streets closed for traffic. Last years show, the 10th annual, was to be the last hosted by Ton Up Indy. The show is in the same Fountain Square location as the previous two, but has new leadership, and also a new name, now The Reunion motorcycle show. It has evolved in the short time I've been going, and hopefully will keep it's indie spirit that Ton Up Indy gave it while at the same time growing. At it's heart it is a ride-in show with a street festival atmosphere where the spectator parking is just as much part of the event as the actual show itself. The weather was excellent for this year. I rode my Sportster to Indy to check it out, and here are some pictures from the event.
