Jungle Park Speedway

The Jungle Park Speedway Reunion will be returning this year on Sunday October 9, 2016 from noon until 5 PM at the Jungle Park Speedway located near Bloomingdale, Indiana. $5 a person or $10 per car load admission. USAC's two most winning drivers, Tom Bigelow and Dave Darland will be there, and also Indianapolis Motor Speedway historian Donald Davidson will be speaking, along with what should be a nice collection of vintage race cars. AMA National Vintage Dirt Track Series - August 12-13 - Indianapolis

This weekend Mid America Speedway will be hosting Round 11 and 12 of the AMA Vintage Dirt Track National Championship Series. The first night of racing will on Friday the 12th and the second on Saturday the 13th. Here are some pictures from last years Vintage National at Mid America Speedway.

Red Bull Air Race

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host a round of the Red Bull Air Race 2016 World Championship on October 1-2. 2016 is the year of the 100th running of the Indy 500, and this new event will add more aviation history to IMS. Here is a quick history of the Red Bull Air Races.

Clinton County Fairgrounds 1/2 mile - September 12 - Frankfort, IN

Indian Arrow flat track racers

Mike O'Neil will be bringing the Indian Arrows originally built by Bob Stark to Mid-America Speedway on July 10th for the Night Before the Indy Mile. On June 29th, Bob Stark passed away and the Arrows will be raced in his honor. Here is a video from their last appearance at Mid-America in 2011.
