As a fellow Hoosier, and new owner to a 73 CL350, I'm checking the 2014 Rockers Reunion. I saw that your Flickr account had a lot of cool photos from one of your trips to it.
I haven't been to the Reunion before. Can you tell me if the bike show was "family friendly"? I'm sure my sons (7 and 6 years old) would love to go but wan't looking forward to covering their eyes and ears every 2 minutes. We can handle loud motorcycles but I'm less interested in exposing them to scantily clad women.
Thanks for the help!
Yes, it is very family friendly, especially since starting in 2013 they have the bike show in a nearby church parking lot, with spectator bike parking on a closed side street. It use to be on an open road in front of the Melody Inn, but the new setup is much better, and a lot safer for everyone involved. You'll see more flesh at a shopping mall, so it would be fine for the kids.
Excellent! I appreciate the information on the specific location. I think my boys and I will have to check it out this year!
Keep up the good work on the bikes. I dig where the DT1 project is going.
