After the pit walk I took my seat in the grandstands even with the start/finish line. I'd compare watching the big twins on a mile to a top fuel dragster; you really can't appreciate it until you see it in person.
Dan Ingram was the Grand Marshal for The Indy Mile.
Here is Brad Baker after winning his heat race, and who went on to win the main in a thrilling finish after a few red flags from crashes.

Thanks! It was an awesome time for sure. I'm just hoping they have The Indy Mile again next year. There is already talk of not having it next year unless they can get it back during the MotoGP weekend.
