I love these little aluminum bodied signals, and end up using them on most of my bikes. I bought these from http://stores.shop.ebay.com/SportingForLess for the SR500. Here they are compared to the stockers.
The weather couldn't have been better at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Bump Day and Armed Forces day. Here's a Coast Guard chopper on the road course. Lots of action on the track. It looked like race day at times. 100 years! More pictures from the day here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/speedfourjoe/sets/72157618375797510/
Here are the bars I'm going to use on the SR500, from http://www.flyncycle.com/. I'd thought of using superbike bars, but they were still too high and had too much pullback, and I don't like the look of dragbars, so I went with these low aluminum motocross bars. Perfect! And the polished alloy finish looks classy.
I got my new pod filter from http://www.mikesxs.net (great service, thanks!) for the VM36 to go on the SR500. Looks like it'll fit the frame OK. I've got a Motion Pro throttle (same as the Gunner Gasser) and alloy bars on the way also.
