For the engine we're just doing a basic service including valve clearance check, oil change and some cleanup on the outside. I really dig the picture on my service manual.
The engine has what the service manual calls a centrifugal oil filter rotor in the clutch, or what most would call a sludge trap.
Here it is after cleaning.
It also has a oil filter screen to clean.
Here it is ready to button up. The screen is below the clutch and above the drain bolt.
The outside had lots of caked on dirt and grunge.
Here it is after cleaning and with a new front sprocket and retainer plate.
The wheels are ready to go. The tires are what came on the bike. They are still in decent shape, and will be fine for now. The rear wheel got new bearings.
