Sportster cafe seat part 3

Not a big update, but more of a continuation of part 2 where I was doing the front of the bum stop. I trimmed and shaped the lower sides area of this piece until it fit.

The front piece is thick 16 gauge, and the cowl (cut from the old gas tank) is quite a bit thinner, but having the tabs underneath made it easier to weld. The tank is the top part of the pic, and the 16 gauge on the bottom.

A bit of grinding and sanding, and this area is just about ready for body filler.

Next with be the lift-off seat base, and some details on the gas tank mounting.
